This morning's Mirror has details of Tony Adams' injury
scare.
Apparently he complained of a "nagging groin problem" in training
last
week, and went for a scan.
It's not clear yet if an operation is required. But if it is required,
it seems that a decsision has been taken for the op to be performed
asap, so that as few games as possible are missed. But he'd obviously miss the start of the season, and his chances of
making the crucial
England game against Poland in 7 weeks would be remote.
Although we do have others reserves, the fact that Matthew Upson suffered a hamstring injury during the Notts County
friendly makes this a bigger worry.
