Reports in today's Daily Mail and Evening Standard say the proposed deal for Inter Milan's Nigerian striker Nw**kwo Kanu looks to have fallen through over an internal argument in Italy. Rather than a loan as suggested earlier, Arsenal had apparently agreed a fee of 4.7 million, and even went as far as agreeing personal terms with the player. But Kanu is owed a 'loyalty bonus' by Inter (?), and won't leave without it. Chelsea may step in. |
