AC Milan do not want to part with their reserve goalkeeper Christian Abbiati, and have turned down an offer from Arsenal.

Abbiati lost his status as first-choice keeper at Milan to Brazilian Dida last season, and obviously wants to fight for his place with the European champions.

The deal proposed by Arsenal is described as a "mega-offer", according to Reuters.
