Arsenal defender Moritz Volz will spend the rest of 2003 on loan at Fulham. The German is expected to make a first-team breakthrough soon after impressing for Wimbledon while on loan last season.

Volz and Arsenal turned down a similar offer from First Divison club Norwich.

Both the 20-year-old and the club prefer the chance of adding Premiership experience to his CV.
