Svard joins the Potters on a 6 month loan (ie till the summer), where he will team up with former Arsenal reserves team-mate John Halls. The Danish U21 international, who will be 21 next month, has been on loan in Copenhagen this season, but without getting to play much. He looked very promising at Arsenal last year, in the reserves and in 2 League Cup starts, so hopefully this loan spell will lead to his developing into an Arsenal midfielder. Failing that, it should help put a few zeros on the fee we can get for him in the summer.
