José Antonio Reyes of Sevilla and Spain has signed for Arsenal today. The fee is said to be 36 million euros, or £25 million, and the 20-year-old has signed a four-and-a-half year contract.

Arsenal.com confirms the move, while the player gets all emotional on his own website, in Spanish of course. His former club announced the deal at a press conference this afternoon.

Reports suggest he'll take Francis Jeffers' number 9 shirt and be available for the game against Man City at the weekend. He's also eligible for the UEFA Champions League.
