Birmingham City have announced that they have agreed a deal with Arsenal to make Jermaine Pennant's loan move to St Andrews a permanent thing.
Although he had some good performances for Arsenal, once he'd
got himself in trouble for drink-drivign a second time it always
seemed clear that there'd be no future for Pennant at Arsenal. He became Arsenal's youngest first-team player when he made his debut for us in teh League Cup loss to Middlesbrough on 30/11/1999, a record which has since been broken by Cesc Fabregas.
Birmingham say the deal is worth £3million, but won;t be finalised until his current loan spell ends next month.
