Two Arsenal-related stories on the Teamtalk website today, although neither has yet had a mention on the Arsenal pages...
The first we can dismiss immediately. Newcastle have apparently offered Arsenal a swap deal: Didi Hamann can come to Highbury, if Marc Overmars goes the other way. Yeah, right.
And secondly, Real Madrid may (or indeed, may not) have bid £12m for Rio Ferdinand. If that's true, it will inevitably reduce the transfer budget - and hence the likelihood of a move - for a certain Nicolas Anelka. |
