According to the Daily Star - not usually a prime source for Arsenal gossip, Stephen Hughes is back at Highbury, but he will not be considered for a first team place.

'Arsenal said they don't want him back until October,' writes Mark McGuinness. 'Hughes will train with the reserves at Arsenal until his loan period at Fulham runs out.'

But, the Star notes, Hughes has been included on the roster submitted by Arsenal for the Champions League, 'as a precaution'.
