Teamtalk have been a bit quiet on the mad transfer rumours lately - but perhaps they've been working for some time on this one...
They're suggesting that Dave Seaman might be up for a free transfer at the end of the year - with Alex Manninger moving up to the number 1 spot, and Barcelona's Ruud Hesp brought in as backup.
Seaman being no spring chicken, there may be some substance in giving him a free transfer (and hence making a nice profit from a signing-on fee). But would Hesp really leave the Nou Camp for a place on our bench? And when we bang half a dozen past him at Wembley in a fortnight, are we going to want him?? |
