It's been a while since Teamtalk came up with some player in Serie A who we're apparently interested in.

So step forward Ousmane Dabo, a second-string midfielder at Inter Milan, who Wenger might see as backup for the staff shortage caused by suspensions to Vieira and Ljungberg, and injuries to Petit and Parlour.

Dabo is (guess what) a Frenchman, 22 years old, signed from French side Rennes in the summer of '98 - he's spent some time on loan at Vicenza. He's got straggly dreadlocks, with a centre parting - reminding one of teenage rappers from a few years back, Kriss Kross.
