Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger has ruled out any move to Real Madrid. The Spanish giants, who have just qualified for the second phase of the UEFA Champions League, sacked Welsh manager John Toshack this week. Wenger, however, is not interested in filling the vacancy. "Arsenal is one of the biggest clubs in Europe at the moment and is a more stable club than Real, so I don't see the point in going there," Wenger is quoted on the Footballnews website. "I have made Arsenal bigger in recent years and my ambition is to make them even bigger." And Wenger added, just to underline his point, we presume: "I never want to be asked about Real Madrid ever again!" |
