First they're resurrecting the old "Arsenal watching Posh" chestnut, but this time it's not the highly rated (and rightly so, how on earth has Barry Fry managed to hang onto him for so long?) Matthew Etherington that they reckon Arsène's got his beady eye on but 21 year old left back Adam Drury. Apparently we need back up cos Silvinho (25) is getting on a bit (funny, we thought left backs don't peak till their mid thirties). See here.

And secondly they do Spanish second division side Levante (of Valencia) a favour by passing on their claims that Arsenal have bid £2million for 18 year old striker Vicente Rodriguez. Levante President Pedro Villaroel says the player is for sale for nearly double that amount and that by claiming Arsenal have made a bid he gives himself a better chance of finding someone willing to pay that (ok so he didn't actually say that last bit). Levante need the money: Vicente is already part-owned by a finance company after they sold some of him off to pay a bill. See here
