Arsenal have been cleared by the Premier League after speculations surrounding an agent fee in the £4m transfer of Silvinho from Corinthians this summer. FIFA agent Bernardo Chlaem Fihlo was paid almost £1m as part of the deal which brought the Brazilian international to Highbury, but according to the Independent, Premier League spokesman Mike Lee have dismissed any need for an investigation into the transfer. "There is no breach of Premier League rules so there is nothing further to investigate," Lee said.
