Olympique Marseilles are reported to be looking
to clear out a few of their players. They're in
trouble on and off the pitch with crowd unrest
reaching new levels after their recent loss to Lens.
There's a French transfer deadline
looming on January 11th, and manager Bernard Casoni
has confirmed that there will be multiple departures
in the near future.
Loads of French players on the market? Sounds like time
for an Arsenal transfer rumour.
Sure enough, Opta
Soccer are taking the easy route and linking us with
midfielder and OM captain Robert Pires. Pires has been linked with Arsenal several times in the past, and Arsène Wenger is
said to be a big fan.
