Robert Pires, Marseille's (occasional) international midfielder, claims that he's been approached by Arsenal - but he won't be coming to Highbury, not yet anyway.

Pires has told the daily sports paper L'Equipe that he is very much in demand, and that Arsenal is one of the clubs that have expressed an interest. But he's more concerned about getting into the French Euro 2000 squad - and thinks that moving abroad could harm his chances.
