Arsenal have turned down a GBP 25 million offer from Real Madrid for Thierry Henry. According to Soccernet, the Spanish giants considered to let Spanish international striker Fernando Morientes be a part of the deal.

Instead, Real has gone and signed Flavio Conceicao from Deportivo La Coruña. The Brazilian midfielder has been mentioned as a target for Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger.
