Arsenal's England U21 keeper Stuart Taylor has become the latest young Gunner to go off for a short loan spell. See
Sporting Life.
Peterborough have a keeper crisis, and have taken him for a month. The return (and form) of Dave Seaman, with Manninger and Lukic in the wings, means that he can certainly be spared. There's no talk of a permanent move at this stage, but it seems likely that Arsenal would be looking to sign a more experienced
replacement when Seaman does hang up his gloves. Taylor would
presumably be looking for a bigger move than Peterborough,
but thsis loan spell would help with that, as well as with
his chances of breaking through at Arsenal in the long run.
There's also talk of another possible loan for Matthew Upson, at Crystal Palace or Norwich. Hw was inured out of his last loan, at Forest, but made his comeback in Tuesday's 2-1 reserve win at Leicester (see AFCi report). He was partnered by Sebastian Svard, making his debut. Thanks to the many ArseWeb readers who pointed this out.
