Arsenal have joined the chase for Tottenham captain Sol Campbell, should you choose to believe the Sunday Mirror. According to the paper, Tottenham are so worried about Campbell moving to Highbury that they have called an emergency meeting with the player and his agent this week.

"Salaries are secondary. I'm all too aware I have to pay bills like everyone else, but it's the ambition of Spurs and where we are going that concerns me," Campbell says to the Sunday Mirror. According to the paper, Bayern Munich are also interested.

Meanwhile, the News of the World claims Lazio have offered the England defender GBP 70,000 per week over three years to leave White Hart Lane for Serie A.
