Arseweb would like to begin circulating a rumour that the Gunners could be signing both Zinedine Zidane and David Trezeguet. Why?

Well, there's a quote doing the rounds from our own Patrick Vieira (Next Captain), reported in the Italian press - so you know how reliable that's gonna be! - saying:

'I can't say I would never move to a side including Zidane and Trezeguet. My return in Italy is possible, but never to Lazio. I know that Juventus is a serious club, a club which protects the players.'

Every man and his dog is trying to stir this up into a 'Vieira to Quit' story. But we like to take the opposite perspective on the quote. Frankly, we own the rest of the French national team's attacking options... it's about time we signed Trezeguet.
