Rumours have reached Arseweb about Arsenal's interest in no less than three Irish league players. The rumours are unconfirmed, however, and we look to our readers for help.

The players in question are Pat Deans of Shamrock Rovers and the Bohemians duo Shaun Maher and Paul Byrne. We don't know if they are wanted by Liam Brady's youth department, with their obvious links to the Republic, or by Arsène Wenger's first team squad.

This rumour have appeared on, among other sites, Arsenal fan Steve Gleiber's Rumour Mill. But no reports on any moves, bids or whiffs of money can be found on the web at present.
