PA/Sporting Life are reporting that Giovanni van Bronckhorst has joined Arsenal. GvB confirms that he has signed a five year contract on his personal website at icons.com. Arsenal are reportedly holding a press conference at 4pm today at which they are expected to confirm Arsene Wenger's latest summer purchase.
(now confirmed on AFCi)
Incidentally, apologies for calling him "van Bronckhurst" in
the past. We know better now and hope to remember to get it
right in future. Well, he's an Arsenal player now.
Alternatively, on Jon's suggestion, we may start calling him
"Bronco van Geoffhurst" !!
