Feyenoord's Australian international was expecting to move to Arsenal in the summer. But when Arsenal pulled out of the deal for Polish keeper Jerzy Dudek at the end of June, the Dutch club went all sulky and refused to let Emerton move to Highbury (see here).

Now that Feyenoord have offloaded Dudek to Liverpool, they've been persuaded to consider doing business with the Gunners again.
