The Evening Standard reckons Inter Milan have become 'odds on favourites' to sign Manu Petit at the end of the year, if he really is determined to leave English football. Arsenal have refused a 12 million quid offer from Lazio, but Inter are apparently prepared to pay even more (quite right too!). The article even suggests that Petit's salary would 'dwarf' the 1.5 million a year which fellow Frenchman and former Monaco team-mate Youri Djorkaeff is earning. |
