Arsenal have opened negotiations with Spanish club Seville for teenage prodigy José Antonio Reyes.

His agent claims the negotiations have been positive, and mentions the possibility of a five-year contract for the young midfielder.

"Reyes is on the market for GBP 11 million. If Arsenal can pay that amount, we're prepared to negotiate," Seville sports director Ramon Rodriguez Monchi said.

The player himself appear interested, too: "I am happy where I am, but if a great offer comes in, the normal thing to do is to accept it," the 18-year-old says to onefootball.com.
