Ricketts got himself into a bit of confusion last summer, first turning down Arsenal's offer of a Pro contract (saying youngsters didn't stand a chance at Highbury), then accepting it 3 months later.

We hope Rickett's doesn't hurry to update his official website. His home page still talks about how great it is "to be part of the fantastic Arsenal set-up", and the latest diary entry is still "Beating Spurs was sweet!" from March.

Meanwhile the rumours about Stephen Carr coming the other way have found new legs, following an (alleged) training ground bust-up.
