Uruguay international goalkeeper Fabian Carini will not play for Arsenal this season, manager Arsène Wenger confirms. Carini was pictured with an Arsenal shirt last month when the club thought they had a deal with Juventus to take him on loan for a year. However, Carini couldn't agree personal terms with Arsenal. Newspaper reports, and indeed even Wenger, hints that Carini could end up as cover for Manchester United's injured Fabien Barthez instead... "We will be looking for someone else," Wenger told reporters after beating Birmingham 2-0. David Seaman and 21-year-old Stuart Taylor are the only senior goalkeepers at Highbury, while 20-year-old Graham Stack has been loaned to feeder club Beveren in Belgium. "We will make a decision before the West Ham United game [next Saturday] but we don't want to talk about any names just yet," Wenger added. More at the Reuters website.
