27-year old Djurgården player Rami Shaaban has been on trial with Arsenal this week, according to Swedish daily Aftonbladet. Shaaban has trained alongside at least two other goalkeepers on trial, and calls the experience "the chance of a lifetime". He has been second choice for the Swedish top division side in the last two seasons, and have played 40 games for the Stockholm club in the last three years. Shaaban's in the final season of his current contract. He's also had a brief career in Egyptian football. Manager Arsène Wenger has stated that a decision will be made Monday about which goalkeeper is to be signed.
