| Charity Shield and Friendly dates |

The date of the Charity Shield has not been confirmed yet,
but seeing as the new season starts on Saturday 7th August
is seems very likely that the Shield will be on Sunday 1st
August.
The expectation is that usual procedure for double seasons will
be followed with Arsenal being invited as league runners-up.
Although we haven't seen it confirmed by the club yet, seeing
as we're the holders of the trophy it's hard to imagine us
refusing the chance to defend it.
The following dates have been confirmed
(St Etienne date moved 07/06):
Fri Jul 9 A Boreham Wood (annual fixture)
Sat Jul 17 A Notts County (part of Jermaine Pennant deal)
Sat Jul 24 A St Etienne (confirmed on ASSE supporters site)
The club have announced that there is now a 6 or 7 year waiting
list for season tickets (but they would say that).
