The 'friendly' with Real Madrid reported here earlier has been postponed. In fact, the game was planned as Lee Dixon's testimonial on August 31st, but it had to be moved because of policing arrangements already made for the Notting Hill Carnival the same weekend. The testimonial could have brought Nicolas Anelka back to Highbury, maybe to let the testimonial man get a good target for some trademark thundering tackles...? |
