AFCi have caught up regarding the away Watford game
on Easter Sunday, and also
announced revised dates for the Sheffield Wednesday and Chelsea
home games. See here.
Tuesday 9th May. Arsenal vs Sheffield Wednesday
Moved from April 8th. New kick-off is 7.45pm
- Saturday 6th May. Arsenal vs Chelsea
- Please note, this page previously stated that the match was likely to be on
Sunday 7th May. This was because the AFCi page was showing it
as Sunday 6th May. Since the 6th is a Saturday, and the day that the match was originally
scheduled, I assumed that their error was in the day rather than the
date. The AFCi page now says Saturday 6th, and the
official Chelsea site concurs. Which begs the question, why are
they going to tbe trouble of telling us that this particular
match is on the day and time that it has always been scheduled for?
We can't rule out the possibility that the page is still in error. Or could it be that it's so rare for a match to be left as a 3pm Saturday kick-off, that they felt the need to tell us
about it?
