The decent start to the league season has encouraged the broadcasters to add a few more Arsenal games to the already bulging TV schedules - and it looks like a busy old Christmas period.
The home game against Newcastle on Dec 18, and the trip to Leicester on January 1 have both been added to the Pay Per View schedules - bringing Arsenal's total PPV appearances so far to three. No details of changes to kick-off times yet, but the Leicester game may well move forward to lunchtime.
(Under the terms of the deal, no team can appear more than 6 times, so chances are we'll see a few of the run-in games on PPV later in the year.)
And unsurprisingly, the Liverpool game in mid-January 13 has been picked up by Sky for normal Sky Sports coverage - and hence moves from the 12th to the 13th. Our trip to Anfield 3 weeks earlier is also earmarked for Sky. |
