Announcing their annual financial results, Sky TV boss Tony Ball has revealed that the live league game between Arsenal and Man Utd later on 22 August will be the first chance to experience 'interactive' TV sports coverage.
Sky has confirmed that viewers to the game on 'Sky Sports Active' will be able to choose their preferred camera angle, or select instant replays and match statistics.
'We revolutionised the way football was covered in this country,' said Ball (great name, by the way). 'We are about to take a step-change in the way sport is consumed in this country.' We'll see about that.
