Football365 carries an interesting piece about protests from Arsenal fans at Carlton's decision to show the ManU game on Wednesday, instead of us against Marseille (although we're a bit miffed that Arseweb didn't get a mention).
'The press office and the research department both stressed the fact that one thing that counted in favour of Manchester United was that when Arsenal were screened in London last season, more complaints were received than when it was the Gunners who were snubbed,' it says. 'A Carlton insider described the decision as "a very fine judgement call", and again mentioned the weight of complaints.'
So apparently, if we were to flood Carlton with complaints, it would have an effect? Keep the pressure up, loyal readers!
