In the BBC Sports Review of the Year show tonight,
Arsenal did indeed win the Team of the Year award,
picked up by Tony Adams, Martin Keown, Dennis
Bergkamp, and Pat Rice (just back from the loss at
Villa Park).
Bergkamp also picked up
his award for goal of the tournament from the
World Cup.
There was disappointment for Tony Adams
in the main event though. He made it to the last
6, but failed to place in the top 3. It was won
by Michael Owen. Tony will, of course, be
taking a philosophical attitude. |
