Shock news from the media world... Capital Gold's Jonathan Pearce has been poached by the BBC! The man whose calm, reasoned delivery has graced countless Arsenal commentaries over the last 14 years will be joining the Five Live team in the New Year.
Seriously... this is amazing news. Pearcey's hyperactive style can't possibly continue at the Beeb, can it? Sounds like a case of immovable object and irresistible force to us.
Pearce is expected to continue his regular TV work with Channel 5, but as yet there is no word about Robot Wars.
