Arsenal are getting ready to launch their own TV channel,
and it's expected to be ready for the start of next season.
Liverpool are setting one up at the same time, both clubs doing it in conjunction with Granada (to whom they have both already sold their broadband internet rights).
The Arsenal channel will be available on Sky Digital only to start with (although possible some digital cable services as well). Granada say it may also be available in
some locations outside the UK, as is MUTV their Man Utd channel.
MUTV had a decidedly dodgy first year, but things have apparently picked up a bit since they've been allowed to
show (delayed) full coverage of matches.
The Arsenal channel is expected to be available for about
£6 per month.
See eg Digital Spy.
We "look forward" to thrilling new Arsenal and Liverpool versions of that "MUTV schedule" email joke that we received so many times during their first year.
