Tonight's Rangers v Arsenal won't be broadcast on Eurosport. Earlier rumours were unfounded. Kickoff on Ibrox in Glasgow is 7.45 PM, or 20.45 CET. Former Rangers favourite Giovanni van Bronckhorst will probably start for Arsenal after a good showing against Celtic. However, French internationals Thierry Henry, Robert Pires and Sylvain Wiltord will take no part in the game. They are just coming into full training after playing the Confederations Cup. Injuries to Martin Keown, Fredrik Ljungberg and Jermaine Pennant will keep them out tonight, but they are likely to be in the frame for selection to this weekend's Community Shield game in Cardiff. Apparently the game is available by pay-per-view on Setanta,
which I am told is now available through Sky boxes. It's a bit
steep though if the reported price of £7.99 is right. The game is apparently being shown on Eurosport later in the week, possibly on Wednesday (although the Sky and Eurosport websites don't seem to be in
complete agreement on this).
