Charlton Athletic have admitted that they are in the 'early stages' of investigating a move to the Millennium Dome site at Greenwich. 'If it's possible to build a 45,000 all-seater stadium only half a mile down the road with all sorts of associated commercial and retail revenues available to the club,' one of their Directors has told Clubcall, 'then that's something we must look at.'
Talk of Arsenal moving to the Dome has calmed of late, with confirmation that the Gooners are in talks with Camden Council about a move to the Kings Cross area... perhaps this will be a final nail in that coffin.
