Steve Braddock, the now legendary Arsenal groundsman, has (yet again) been named Premier League Groundsman of the Year, an award sponsored by the FA's big backer Nationwide. The award is based on referees' remarks, club nominations, and the advice of no less an authority than Dr Stephen Baker of the Sports Turf Research Institute. The lower division awards were won by Oxford, York and Cambridge.
