The new revised plans for the new Ashburton Grove Arsenal stadium,
and associated developments, are to go on public display next week.
See this AFCi page for details.
The page lists the many and varied improvements that have been made to the plans in the light of the the previous consultation phase, and provides a picture of the Lough Rd development - where
the Waste recycling facility is now to be better screened off.
Other improvements include changes to the way that the roads around Holloway are to be developed, and a £5million contribution towards public transport improvements.
The plans are due to be submitted to the council this month
(already?). The hope is that they will approve them in October.
The Lough Rd development would start soon after, and be
finished soon after the stadium is started in mid 2002.
This would then be ready for the start of the 2004-2005 season,
when work would start on redeveloping Highbury.
The plans will be on show in the Clock End at Highbury, for
7 days starting next Friday (15th June). |
