Bradford manager Paul Jewell is so desperate for midfielders to put up against the rebounding Arsenal that he's considering naming an unfit 35-year-old in the squad.
Former Scottish international Stuart McCall, he tells PA, is 'not a bad replacement to bring in - but he's still short of match fitness, although his enthusiasm might just get him through if we need him. To be honest, I'm hoping he's not involved.'
But he's putting on a brave face at having to face the Wenger boys: 'We can't be in awe of them. They are a good side, no doubt about that, but we're still in the same league as them.'
It's only August Paul, it's only August... |
