Arsenal (0) 0 - 1 (1) Liverpool
Highbury, Sunday 13th February 2000
FA Carling Premiership
This deserved win for Liverpool takes them above Arsenal into third in
the table,
and with Chelsea just a point behind few sections of the press
have been slow to declare, gleefully, that Arsenal's Champions
League hopes are finished.
Ok, so it's out of our hands now, and we've got a fight on our hands if we're going to win one of those 3 places. But there's
a long way to go yet, and so long as the players don't start believing that they're finished we're in with a good shout.
Liverpool, Man Utd, Leeds, and Chelsea will all drop points
between now and the end of the season.
We have a 2 week break now till Southampton visit Highbury.
Let's just hope that Kanu doesn't return too downhearted,
he could be the catalyst for revival.
Our own match reports will be up soon, but in the meantime
see our match report
page for a handy list of links to reports on other sites.
