Thierry Henry, not before it was due, receives the Carling Player of the Month award for April.
This is an award of somewhat dubious nature, considering Ferguson won Manager of the Month despite being bounced out of Europe with a whimper. Still, beating Watford, Soton and Sunderland in the league must demonstrate his tactical acumen [actually not - ed].
But unlike Ferguson, Thierry richly deserves this accolade for making us all forget about whatever-his-name-was. |
