It'll be interesting to see who plays tonight, since Leeds
draw with Everton last night means that second place is already secure.
Petit is expected to be rested after picking up a minor
ankle injury against Chelsea. Suker and Ljungberg are both still out injured, but the good news is that Freddie
may be fit in time to get a run-out against Newcastle on Sunday,
so his presence in Copenhagen next Wednesday can't be ruled out.
But the big question is, will Winterburn play in what could end up as his last home game for Arsenal? And if he doesn't
play, does that mean he's staying? We're doing our best to be optimistic! It'd be a real shame if the fans favourite missed
out on a big farewell just because people weren't sure if he
was leaving. A few people commented on how he was the last
man off the pitch on Saturday, staying behind to applaud the fans. But it didn't mean anything in terms of his leaving or staying: Nigel always does that. Top man.
No news from the Wednesday camp (or rather, what news there is is all about comings and goings and strategies for next year). See
match preview for some
links to useful resources etc. |
