Liverpool's dismal draw on Sunday, against nothing-to-play-for Southampton - followed by the Leeds-Everton draw, officially the Most Card-Ridden Game In Premiership History by the way, means that Arsenal are now guaranteed second place in the Premiership... and hence a guaranteed position in the Champions League next year, instead of having to win through a play-off. Hurrah.
