Arsenal will once again be missing Tony Adams in
tomorrow's derby game at West Ham. Both Upson and
Stepanovs played well for the reserves in midweek,
but Grimandi and Luzhny are ahead of them for
the place alongside Martin Keown.
Perhaps we'll see that partnership (the future of Arsenal's defence?) given a go in the League Cup game with Ipswich the week after next. David Seaman has recovered from the injury which kept him out of Tuesday's draw in Rome and is expected to start, although Le Boss has said that he would have
had complete confidence in John Lukic if needed.
West Ham will be missing Igor Stimac, but fellow Croatian and former Gunner Davor Suker has been back in training and is expected to make the squad at least.
Nigel Winterburn will surely play, though. Arsene Wenger has commented on how much he and the team are looking forward to seeing the Nutty boy, who's been doing really well
so far with the Irons. Let's hope he doesn't have too good a game on Saturday. Watch out for them rockets, Dave (or John).
