In brief:
Arsenal are without Adams and Seaman again. Vieira and Henry are now confirmed absentees, as are Silvinho Lauren and Grimandi. Parlour is 50-50. The only positive news is that Manninger and Pires are
available again. Arsène Wenger has actually said that Manninger will start against Everton, and that this is his chance to show that he's a worthy successor to Seaman. Wenger said that if Alex performs well while Dave is out for this spell, then with him and Taylor in the squad, Arsenal will have no need to look for another keeper. This would appear to confirm today's reports for Magnus Hedman's agent, that stories linking him with Arsenal this week were hogwash. Well I never.
Everton have loads of problems too: injury list includes Ferguson, Xavier, Jeffers, Gough,
Pistone and Alexanderssen.
Naysmith is doubtful, but Gascoigne and Watson could be back from injury. Gravesen is
suspended.
Arsenal old-boys Hughes and Campbell are available.
