Arsene Wenger told the post-Chelsea press conference that the league campaign 'is not over' following our well-deserved win. 'To have lost today would have meant it was over as no-one would have been able to stop Chelsea,' he said. 'It would have been over if we had lost today but now it's not over. It depends on our consistency and other teams' results as well as experience, injuries and red and yellow cards.'
But Dennis Bergkamp isn't in especially confident mood. 'I still see a difference between now and this stage last season,' he tells PA. 'We were more in form then and could play our way out of trouble, but now when we go in front we are having to dig in and hope the other team won't score. There's a lot of hard work to be done before we can get back to our best of last season.' |
