Fulham (0) 1 - 3 (1) Arsenal
Craven Cottage, Saturday 15th September 2001
FA Barclaycard Premiership
Arsenal started well, and dominated the first half
going in with a 1-0 lead thanks to Ljungberg's
scrappy 15th minute goal.
But Fulham drew level just 2 minutes into the second half
when Boa Morte got past Campbell way too easily and set
Malbranque up to score.
Like against Mallorca, Arsenal panicked somewhat after that
with Campbell again making mistakes and Keown and Cole looking
shaky at times too. Seaman kept us in it with a great save
from Lebwinski.
In the last 15 minutes we came back into it, and Henry scored with 9 minutes to go after a clever ball from Ljungberg
(at the same time as Man Utd conceded to go 4-3 down at St James's Park).
Then, as Roy Keane was gettign sent off, Bergkamp scored a peach from the edge of the box after
good persistence from Freddie and nice work in the box by Wiltord. It'll be interesting to see if Keane gets
slagged off to the extent Vieira would. Sounds like he
aimed a punch at Shearer after the
red card had been shown. But Shearer (and the rest of the country) had the last laugh.
A few yellow cards, but no reds for the first time this season.

With Bolton's bubble bursting against Southampton, Arsenal go top. But Leeds play Charlton tomorrow.
